HERE IS THE WEATHER REPORT
Questions prospective guests often ask are: "What is the weather going to be like? Will it snow? Does it rain all the time? What clothes should I pack?" Here now is everything you will ever need to know about weather. And more.

Mayne has what climatologists call "a mild Mediterranean climate". The ocean, the world's great air-conditioning system, cools us in summer, warms us in winter, so temperature extremes are rare.  Summers are warm and dry. Winters are rainy and mild (what do you care - Oceanwood is closed in winter).

Below is a table that gives averages for the past 15 years.  Statistics never lie.   (If you believe that, call about our special sale price on the Oak Street Bridge.) It will at least give you a reasonable idea of what you might expect.

Predicting the future however we leave to Delphic Oracles, Celtic Druids and the Canadian Government.  This last
has an excellent web site at www.weatheroffice.com where, with the hubris we have come to love in our public offices, they will predict the future, short term at least.
