| The Rose Room | |
| The Rose Room was the master bedroom in the original house
that we bought in 1989. We have made some changes, but then there are changes and
additions all over the place in the last nine years. That's a whirlpool bath that you see in the back so you can sit in the bubbles with a glass of bubbly. The floor is oak, the fireplace is marble. Now scroll down and look the other way. |
|
| The sliding doors open on to a little deck overlooking Navy
Channel. If you don't draw the curtains, you can lie in bed in the morning and watch
the ocean. At night you can sit by the fire and see how many rose poems you can remember
-- perhaps Herman Melville: Forget Gertrude Stein's one-liner - widely quoted but boring.. |
