The Lavender Room |
|
| The Lavender Room is also one floor above the garden and has a balcony overlooking the ocean. It has a queen-size, four poster bed, fireplace, big soaking tub, and bathroom with shower. | |
| The word lavender is connected with the Latin lavare, to
wash, because its fresh scent was used in washing water, for soap, and for perfuming
rooms. It grows widely in our garden and it is also an edible flower so we use it sometimes in cooking. Prune it every year to stop it from getting too leggy. |
